Alex Bucur Director Alex Bucur is responsible for the fundamental research behind Tano Global Hard Assets investments. He was previously a research analyst with Wellington Management Company in Boston. Mr. Bucur brings 5 years of operating insight to his investment process, having served as CEO of SoftSourcing Inc., a software and engineering company based in Arlington, Virginia. While managing the joint-venture aimed at opening the US market for its European backers, Mr. Bucur structured, raised capital, launched and grew SoftSourcing from securing its first contract to establishing managerial processes for the company‟s globally distributed teams. Prior to 2001, Mr. Bucur held general management and business development positions as an executive with Eastern Europe based information technology companies. Alex earned an MBA from Columbia Business School in New York City, graduating with honors, as a Top 10% Scholar. At Columbia, he was selected for the exclusive Value Investing Program, a legacy of Benjamin Graham and Warren Buffett. He also holds a BS (Honors) Degree in accounting and finance from the London School of Economics. |
