Mr. Pereira has 17 years of experience in the financial services industry. Prior to his current assignment, he was most recently the Managing Director and Partner in charge of Corporate Finance for KPMG in India, the Middle East and South Asia. Prior to that, he worked as a partner at Ambit Corporate Finance Pte Ltd, a boutique Indian investment bank, where he originated and executed a variety of transactions in mergers and acquisitions, private equity, structured finance and financial restructuring. He joined Ambit from Arthur Andersen, where he was advising on entry strategies for foreign companies in India, taxation, business planning and implementation of corporate structures.

Mr. Pereira is a certified member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
