Timothy Chatard Managing Director Timothy Chatard is a Managing Director for Tano Capital, LLC. Tim has 17 years of research and portfolio management experience. For the past 10 years, Tim has co-managed multiple US equity strategies at Sterling Johnston Capital Management, a San Francisco based investment firm he helped establish and manage, where approximately half of his efforts were devoted to hard asset sectors. He co-managed over $1.5B in these strategies for an array of high-profile foreign and domestic pension fund, endowment and foundation clients. Prior to Sterling, Tim worked for four years at Franklin Templeton Group as a research analyst and portfolio manager, in both international and domestic equities. Prior to joining Franklin, Tim spent three years in corporate finance and M&A with Morgan Stanley in New York and Tokyo. Tim graduated from UC Berkeley in 1991 with high distinction in general scholarship and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa. He received his MBA from Harvard Business School in 1996 and is a Chartered Financial Analyst. |
